Luckily for some of us blogs don't have to be about anything specific, they can be about general ramblings, gripes, or whatever we want to type. So, you get the pleasure, or displeasure, of reading my blog today. Of course if you prefer, you can click on any other link that you want to and skip reading this now.

Cars and Stuff
Since I have is a 2004 Taurus, this is what we will talk about first. A few weeks ago we sprung an oil leak, 2 actually. The car is in excellent condition otherwise, has 118k miles on it, so it was worth exploring and trying to fix. So up it goes and we spotted the two leaks. 1 was the metal/rubber washer on the drain plug. The second was the oil pan gasket. Guess which one was the easy one... For anyone who is dropping the oil pan from a similar car, do yourself a favor and disconnect the Y tube from the exhaust. It is the only way to accomplish this task. Remove the 2 bolts from the front side of the engine, remove the two from the underside where it connects and loosen the two on the back side. The exhaust will drop and the oil pan will come right out. After spending all afternoon on this, we got the gasket and washer replaced and no oil since.

Sports and Stuff
Been doing a lot of content writing over a KY Rivalry lately. Instead of retyping, I will send you to a few good links:
