• Cleaning your Custom Cars Interior

Cleaning the inside of your Custom Car is something that could be easily overlooked. As most people are more worried about showing of the outside of the car the inside does get looked at too. You can have a nice professional looking cleaned interior with just a few household products. Just follow these steps to a clean interior.

    1. Remove your floor mats and be sure to shake all the loose debris out of them.

    2. Using the hose from your house vacuum or using your shop vac, vacuum all of the interior. Paying special attention to the small cracks and crevices. Make sure you look under the seats for garbage, coins, etc.

    3. Vacuum the floor mats, you may be able to use a steam cleaner to get that ground in dirt in the floor mats and in the carpet.

    4. If you have any stains in the vehicle use the steam cleaner to work them out. Take you time, it may take a few times to get it all the way clean.

    5. Clean your windows. Using a household window cleaner clean the inside and outside of all doors and rear and front windows. Dont forget the mirrors.

    6. Clean the dashboard, door panels, and rear deck. On vinyl many people like to use a vinyl protectant to make them parts shine and look clean. One mistake people make is spraying on and wiping off very quickly, allow the protectant to work its way in some before wiping it off.

    7. Enjoy your cleaned interior and have a good day at the show!
