1970 F100 SWB CVPI IFS/TBird IRS build

Got some engine swap pics today. I ordered headers for a '74 F100 2WD 460 pickup. In this first pic the engine is sitting on the CV crossmember. The headers dump into the firewall. Engine needs to go down at least 3". Rear sump pan required or totally custom fabbed headers. I am opting for the rear sump pan.

I am hoping to have the dash in before warm weather comes. This engine swap is a one thing after another event. I am now searching out a rear sump oil pan and oil pickup tube. One day it will run again I swear

I have the dash now. Found it just south of Montgomery, AL. Ordered my plates Monday. FARM TRK I thought it fitting. Truck runs. Hopefully it is drivable this weekend.

Cant wait to see the new dash mods and installed. Keep it up man and for sure keep us posted on future work. This truck is going to be one Custom for sure. I see a feature coming soon...
