Hi Im new to all of this and Im not really sure where to look for advice. Im the sort of person who tackles any idea that comes to mind just to see if its doable. I recently thought of designing and building my own custom car, something small thats based upon it being lightweight and great handling. I want it to be street legal and be low cost. My biggest question at the moment is how i will get the power from the engine to the wheels. Im looking at a RWD mid or rear engine design. I was wanting to know if i can use a FWD car engine and transaxle or something of the sorts in the rear of the car? Engines I have been looking at would be around the 1.3-2L 4 cylindermark. If Im in completely the wrong forum Im sorry i just can't find any other decent forums for this sort of thing and i have a million questions i need answered. Thanks
